Hi all. Firstly my name is Jarryd and im from Australia. I do not know if this is the right section to post so please dont flame me if its in the wrong section. I have a jdm s13 silvia with a ca18det. I have made a tune for my following mods
CA16DE inlet cam
T28BB from JDM S15 slivia
Walbro 550hp Pump
FMIC
444cc GTR injectors
RB20 AFM (old Purple lable)
3" Turbo back exhaust with 3" cat
Now I am having trouble burning the new tune i made to an eprom. I am using a willem dual power eprom burner and a 27C256 chip. When ever i go to write the chip i get a 0x00000 chip 0x00 Buffer 0xFF error. Sometimes i can burn the chip but when i check to see if the chip is blank it reports back and says that it is blank.
Should I just put the eprom into my ecu and see if it works or is there something wrong that im doing while burning the chip. If anyone has a guide or can help me with this problem that would be very appreciated
I have also uploaded the tune i made so if you could have a look at that it would also be great.

Thanks

First, get a different eprom burner. I've gotten mine to work but only with SST EEPROMs and you've gotta basically trick it into working. It's not advisable you put the EPROM in there either, sometimes they can make badness happen with your ECU if they aren't burned properly.
Darkhalf on here sells a board for the CA ecu that offers a whole raft of features, real-time map tracing being one of them and with USB connectivity it's worth the price for the ease of use and connectivity. I've read good things about it and will be ordering one myself pretty soon. www.nistune.com |

| the board is fairly expensive. I don't know if you guys have heard of Dr Drift but hes one of the best CA tuners in Australia. For that price I can get the chip and get him to dyno tune it to. |

Why not try a 27C128 chip, that's what the CA uses natively. Just make sure the chip is fully erased. You can buy them cheap on ebay, just put "27C128" into the search. You can also buy UV chip erasers for very cheap also or just set the chip in direct sunlight for a few hours.

| I found my problem its because i cant get VPP voltage to 12.5V. For some reason the max i can get is only 4.27 and i cant adjust this but turning the little blue pot. |
