Am thinking of using LS1 coils on my RB25.

Was working on some sort of conversion formula to convert the values in the ecu into ms of ign dwell time

I need approx 4-5 ms of dwell.

You can try it. The normal default about 1.5 to 2 ms. Changing it that much might burn out the coils alot faster. Check to see the coils are getting too hot.

Just revising the formula

address 7b60 - 7b7f

((Val dec*Volt corr)/2)*.33 = Igndwell %

does this sound right?
