do you need to trun off the aiv, boost solenoids, and charcoal canister so it doesnt give a check engine light. is there any threat if it throwning it in a limp mode with these solenoids not pluged in. thankyou

I know there are maps that have an AIV delete but don't know what the difference is, never had a look. Boost solenoids can be bypassed no problem. Charcoal canister can be bypassed too.

also cant put ecm in diagnostic mode. car runs but check engine light on runs like crap bought a chip but have all the stuff to do my own chips.

The ECU does not control any of these components. You just physically remove them. I suggest you got to [url]www.twinturbo.net [/url]and do LOTS of reading to learn the basics of how the systems in a 300ZX work

if the ecu has nothing to do with any of these why does it store a code for egr code 32 and and 26 boost pressure sensor

Like I said before ALL it does is test the sensor, it in NO way controls the sensors, it's the sensors that activate solenoids etc. Pretty much a;; the ECU does is control the fuel and the timing, sure it does that based on some sensors input. Thats why if the sensor throws a fault code the ECU goes into a defualt node and uses standard settings rather that altering things on the fly in response to the varying sensor inputs. Go to the other section on here and there is a link to a great site that explains exactly how the ECU works
