no, the CA18DET ECU does NOT have a consult port.....but you can change the EPROM easily _________________ 1970 Datsun 1600 CA18DET Project

If you want, I've got a STOCK bin file for the single sparks CA18ET, send me your mail by PM.
But I haven't the address file
I'm always looking after CA18ET files too ..... _________________ 200SX RS13 Zenki (w. CA18DET)

I've just extracted the eprom from a mk2 s12 ca18et ecu (UK spec) It's a little different from the rom image I've seen already which I believe came from a t12 bluebird.
I use live edit and I've found the CA18DET address file is almost perfect for the ET. the only difference I've spotted is the rev limit multiplier |

ECUs prior to 1989 dont support Nissan consult. This is why I started implementing consult for earlier model vehicles using USB port with NIStune. I have an S12 ECU here which uses similar address file to S13 and got the consult implementation working on it
Earliest models to use consult were 1989 R32 skyline where ROM size doubled from 16K to 32K EPROM chip and Serial Communications Interface was utilised to use consult. (Note Early R32 skylines do not support ROM Read from address 8000 updwards) |
