Live Edit only supports the ROMulator.....but thats not to say that you may not be able to make it owrk with other emulators.
I think people have tried Moates before with no luck tho sorry _________________ 1970 Datsun 1600 CA18DET Project

oh well, shame there's no cheaper option, looks like the romulator is going to cost 4 times as much as all the other equipment together. and there's never any second hand in the UK

i was told by the guys who make the ostrich that its software command compatible with the romulator and so it "should work" with liveedit...
I just dont have an ostrich to test this out sorry...
if there is anyone in melbourne, vic, aus with an ostrich that would be willing to let me test some stuff out - who knows what might happen...
thanks for your interest in liveedit...

wonder if they will do a cheap one to prove it works? worth asking I guess, it's got to be worth it to them as they'd sell loads more units

It works, I've officially had the Moates Ostrich running on my CA18DET ECU with Live edit fully functioning. I did have problems running with the version called "liveedit_final.exe" but "liveedit.exe" works spot on
