|
|
ive been using a rb20det ecu witha 27c256 chip in it as standard, so replaced with a retuned 27c256 and went fine.
so i managed to get another rb20de ecu which ive used succesfully before in a rb20det with a 20det map retuned,(different rb20de ecu) however this ecu has a 27x128 chip as standard, and if i burn on a 32kb map (256) which is the standard 20det size, it gives a check engine flash.
So how can i use a rb20de ecu with a rb20det or 25det fuel map wen its only a 27x128 chip as standard.
sorry for the mass confusion
Cheers. |

copy the 16K image from the 27C128 into the top half (4000-7fff) of the 27C256
you will have to copy the fuel maps manually based from their addresses (in the romeditor address file) |

what i did to use 16K image from 27c128 into a 28c256 was simply to concatenate 16K image and again same 16K image and i had 32K = 16K + 16K writed that into the 28C256 eeprom inserted into the CA18DET ecu and job done _________________

yes you do. you need to know where they are. then just cut and paste the map from one ROM image to the other
can use a hex editor to do that |

Data rom 27c128 and 27c256 is not the same. You need base rom from 27c128 and copy to 4000-7FFF.
