Hey Guys

Im new to Nissan and the 200sx. I have a 1992 Nissan 200sx S13 with a 18det motor.
I know this is a stupid question but where can I find the ECU and what kind of connecter can I use to interface with it.

Thank

ca18det ecu in 180sx bodyshell cars is in the passenger footwell kickpanel next to the door hinges

there is no consult to interface to the ecu

if you do want to interface with the ecu you will either need

a) darkhalf's realtime board and software
or
b) an emulator and compatible software

if you dont have lots of tuning gear - go with darkhalfs setup - it puts consult into a ca18 and is a damm good deal for what you get Smile

have fun

Do you know of any software lawrence that allows consult to be used on a CA18det without a add-in board?

yup - self corrects to 14.7:1 af ratio when your in the closed loop part of the fuel maps

there is self diagnostics via the screw on the ecu

you turn the screw all the way to the right - wait till the led flashes the group of 3 (one flash - pause - two flashes - pause - 3 flashes) then turn the screw to the left and count the led flashes then
they are the error codes

then google em to find out what the errors mean Smile
