Wiring of thermofan, think i've got it.
basically came up with a couple of idea's
1. use aicon sig & radator sig thru a couple of diodes to trigger one fan relay
2. use two relays.
anyway have done some basic wiring diagrams. |

Yup - they let slip one day on the phone they were waiting for boards to arrive from japan and then freaked out that they slipped that one out
they are also developing themselves boards for the 2jzgte supra engine - weird things - needs an eprom for the fueling and another for the ignition...
very cool engine that - even tho i love nissans - that particular engine is just a farkin beast |

R33 Series 1 (& 2?) can be successfully run in the following ways:
1: R33 ecu with chip socket and once only write chip
2: R32 ecu (do you need to swap injector 4 & 6 wires?) but no VCT control, a TPS problem (can anyone clarify this?) any other issues?
3: Z32 ecu - requires some repinnig, (perhaps a powers steering issue?), otherwise great with vct, electric fans, and other possible outlets.
Anything incorrect here? or anything else to add? |
This is something that i've been looking at lately.
been knocking up a list of requirements and wiring changes to suit my proposed application.
PS the twin turb bit might be a touch optimistic but you know

I am still to move on this project as things have been a little hectic lately.
I've seen a few r33's on the net that are running z32 ecus. And nistune works fine.
So I'd think that it'd work, There maybe little issues along the way but they should not be to difficult to work out. |

Yeah I've been watching this on the infinity forum also, couldn't get my registration to work or I was going to reply there..
What engine loom are you going to be using?
Thats the first step toward working out the wiring changes required.
I made a little .txt file with wiring changes for a r33 engine loom and posted it somewhere.
Did you happen to find it?
I would try to start the engine with a basic rom tune first and then nistune later. Try Speedlab on this forum he maybe able help out with a tune. |
