|

Hey,
I just did a ca18det swap, the engine is completely stock, but I have a Z32 MAF hooked up and a 255 Walbro fuel pump.
I am using Nistune with the stock ca18det map. I need to know what I need to do to get this thing running right. It's completely undrivable with the way it's idling at the moment. It pretty much revs and drops between 500 and 1000 rpm and touching the gas pedal does not effect the running. |

Dumb questions out of the way firstly
Have you selected Z32 MAF from the dropdown list after fitting it? There is a section in the software users manual for resizing injectors and MAFs. It will change your MAF calibration VQ table and adjust your injection multiplier (K constant)
btw What injectors are you running?
Have a look firstly there to see you have done that. btw the link to the NIStune forums is provided in your registration email too |

Okay,
I changed the MAF in nistune to match the Z32, but it didn't change how it ran. I put the factory ca18det MAF back on it and it ran and responded to the throttle etc, but is still missing and running 2500 rpm at idle...
Does anyone have a factory nistune rom image for a ca18det? |

| ROM images are in the downloads ROM directory under 'Type 1' and then 'CA18' or email me with ECU part number and I can send it through |
