I found these stage 3 fuel and ignition maps (from CA18DET) and wanted to know why so much timing is pulled on no load and high rpm and why so much fuel is added on the same place.
The stage 2 maps were similar but no fuel added on no load and high rpm but still much timing pulled.

Could it be done to help the engine/turbo cool by flushing it with fuel? Or is it just for show and having exhaust bangs... |

looks like they were trying to get the bangbang or some flames happening
wrong place to make the timing change for that tho  |
