Ive been a fan of the nissan oem flters for years, but...............ive switched to mobile 1 filter. what about you guys?

Tried both.. FYI the Infiniti Q45 oil filter is the same as the 300zx.. cost about $4.95 at Scottsdale Infiniti or you can get the Nissan. Oh, and the fuel pump, injectors, tension rods are the same too.

I use amsoil filters only because they supposedly filter better.

Ive been using good ol' Napa Gold (WIX) filters on my 90 NA for the past 160K miles. They are like 5 or 6 bucks, but if you cut open a gold filter youd be surprised at the difference. The internals are much higher quality than most, with silicon back flow valves. The factory nissan ones are much cheaper quality. Some napa stores will give ya a discounted price if you buy a case of them in what they call a "master pack". The filters are just plastic sealed instead of boxed when you buy them buy the case.
