Any of you looking for a good deal on some brand new turbos give Tod in US a try at Speediee@aol.com. He has just supplied me with two Garrett GT28R units and shipped them airmail (took three days to arrive) to UK at well below half price (including shipping) on local supplier prices!!!!!!!!! _________________ An old dog learning new tricks. $725 each plus postage. My local Garrett agent wanted £900+17.5%VAT each.
No he has not got a web site that I know about but there are articles about Tod Kaneko on the internet.

I'm mounting my GT28R turbos on homemade tube steel manifolds so I will be working to my own design, which will take me some time to complete. _________________ An old dog learning new tricks. I liked the new electric start cars. |

I can't understand why we can buy genuine Garrett turbos overseas, ship them to the UK, and still pay far less than UK dealer prices.
I even saw a disclaimer on a large UK turbo distributors website saying they couldn't honour warranty claims on non UK turbos!!!
I don't feel that is very fair... |
